After an up and down season last time around, we are hoping to achieve more consistency both in selection and performance this season. London 2 South is going to be more competitive than ever this season so we have to stick together as players to ensure success on the field. We have the coaching and back room support in place and it is now up to the players to train hard and put into practice what is drilled into us on Tuesdays and Thursdays (I mean during training of course!).
We've kept the core of the squad that has been around for the past few seasons and have picked up some new recruits over the summer and hopefully we'll see the continued development and progression of the younger players up through the club, even if it just means their presence during university holidays.
If you see a new face on the pitch or in the clubhouse, take the time to say hello and buy them a beer and make them feel welcome at the club.
As players we really appreciate the supporters who turn up come rain or shine on a Saturday and would love to see more of you on our travels.
We have some unfamiliar teams on the fixture list this season and hope to take as many supporters as we can with us. Let's make this a season to remember for all the right reasons…
