On behalf of the 3rd team I would like to thank Mike Laurenson for his efforts last season leading the team to a respectable mid-table finish. I would like to build upon his efforts and maintain the fierce reputation that he and his predecessors have established amongst the club and county.

With thanks to an ever increasing number of players who can play, could play or have played 1st team rugby now training, the club has elected the 3rd team to be a dedicated development side with the task of nurturing the clubs future potential.

Players of all levels, abilities and ages are welcome, we aim to introduce aspiring players to the long standing stalwarts of the club who will demonstrate their knowledge and experience acquired over the years, whilst playing competitive rugby in the Invicta 3 division.

As a development side players are expected to attend training as a member of the club squad on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Mote starting 7.15pm finishing 9.00pm.
Recruitment is vital to the club and new players are welcome all year round whatever your age or experience.

Captain Andy Cairns and Vice Captain Steve Quinn, both having captained sides successfully to win the fabled Centenary Cup, have agreed to accept the challenge the club has put before them.

On behalf of us both, we hope to have a successful and enjoyable season.
