Extracts from John Wright's letter to Coaches & Team Managers dated 15th September 2000...
...There are significantly more home matches than in previous seasons which will put a lot of pressure on the organisers. Please therefore be patient and encourage parents to help out wherever they can. All four pitches available to us will be in use on a number of occasions and I have attempted to be as fair as possible in the pitch allocation.
Food - Every age group is expected to provide catering - a maximum of 4 times during the season. Each age group (the mini's count as one) will provide food for all teams playing on the day, with some excess for casual purchases. Please refer to "Pitch Allocation" below for the rota.
Pitch 1 = 1st Team Pitch, Pitch 2 = Bottom Pitch, Pitch 3 = "The Somme", Mote = Mote Park Pitch - Behind Leisure Centre.
