Membership Fees & Categories

Season 2011-2012

NB from Feb 2012 we are changing to subscription by direct-debit. This is a vital change in order to monitor and control our cash-flow and to make sure that all members are contributing their fair share to the club-finances. Please help your club by completing an on-line mandate (below) and then and only then cancelling your standing-order. You are fully protected by the usual Direct Debit Guarantees.

The annual subscription is changed for the 2011/12 Season as follows:

Membership Type	2011/12 rate (& monthly direct-debit)
Playing member	£180 (or £15 pcm direct-debit)
Playing member (HM Forces)	£120 ( or £10 pcm direct-debit)
Non-Playing member	£100 (or £8.33 pcm direct debit)
Youth/Student (student is U19 or in full time further education)	£50 (or d/d £10 pcm for 5 months) Cost of 2 youth=£75 (or d/d £15 then £10 pcm for 6 months) For 3 or more children see Family Membership.
Family	£120 (or £10 pcm direct-debit)
Playing Family	£220 (or £17.50 pcm direct-debit)

The subscription outlined above is all the payment that is required to play rugby at Maidstone.

Please note that “only players who have paid their membership” are covered by the R.F.U. insurance and eligible to play. In some cases it might be prudent to take up additional insurance cover for your own personal use.

Membership subscriptions include the usual benefits of free entry to home league matches, use of the clubhouse facilities, access to the draw for international tickets, voting rights, ability to stand for office etc all apply. There are no match fees charged by the club, these are all incorporated into the membership subscription. However, players who are not paying a monthly or annual sub to the club, will be required to pay a match tax of £10 per match.

IF YOU HAVEN’T PAID YOUR MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTION THEN YOU ARE:
1. DEPRIVING THE CLUB OF FUNDS.
2. NOT ENTITLED TO PHYSIOTHERAPY.
“AND SOMEONE ELSE IS SUBSIDISING YOUR RUGBY”!!

Those on a low income should contact the Membership Secretary, in complete confidence, to discuss their situation.

On-line Direct Debit (Minis and Junior parents only - in the Player's name field, please enter your child's year and month of birth followed by their 1st name (eg 9909 Oliver) as this assists us to ensure we provide sufficient facilities for each age group.
