Last season, we signed up for the RFU’s Go Play Rugby campaign and were highly successful in recruiting new and returning players to the game of rugby, to the extent that we found ourselves at one stage having to field 7 senior sides, in order to make sure that we could provide enough rugby for everyone.
This season, we have welcomed back most of the recruits from last year, whilst continuing to attract new members.
However, we are especially keen to strengthen the First Team Squad to enable us to consolidate and maintain our position in London 2 South, so we are always pleased to hear from players who have the aspiration and ability to play 1st Team Rugby at this level. In particular,Front-row forwards of the right calibre, would have the opportunity to progress quickly into the 1st and 2nd team squads.
A combination of factors that includes top class coaching, low membership fees, proximity to Maidstone town-centre and its vibrant night-life and a packed fixture list for all teams, mean that whatever your ability and aspirations, Maidstone FC is an attractive place for you to play rugby and socialize, in a traditional rugby environment.
