Welcome to the U7’s homepage. We are the youngest competitive side here at Maidstone FC with about 15 members who turn up regularly for training and fixtures. We train every Sunday morning when we don’t have a fixture between 10 am and 12 noon, on the pitches up behind the leisure centre in Mote Park. You can’t miss us – we’re the shortest bunch there !
On these pages you’ll find contact details for the lead coach, membership & medical forms, information about fixtures and a gallery. We don’t do match reports for the U7’s because at this age a picture says a thousand words. Have a look at our pictures – we have had a great season so far and there are some cracking shots of the teams in action.
We have four coaches and the sessions focus on basic skills such as running, ball-handling, passing and evasion - but most of all we’ll be trying to have fun ! We provide an opportunity for kids to learn the basics of rugby in a safe, supervised environment, so if you’re in possession of a budding rugby star who is tearing up your lawn, or you’d just like to fill a couple of hours on a Sunday with some healthy exercise then simply turn up when we are training (dates of training can be found under ‘Fixtures’). Everyone is made welcome and we are always looking for new players.
