Following the success of the 3rd XV in Invicta 2 last season, circumstances have dictated that we commence this season in Invicta 3 this season. The 3rd XV competed for the Invicta 2 league title up until the last few matches and ended the season in a very satisfying 3rd position in the table. This was down to everyone in the team putting in fantastic performances week in, week out.

We are hoping to have the usual stalwarts available, (injury and care home passes dependent), to provide the invaluable knowledge and experience that every young player will benefit from should they want to play a high level of the game, and you will not find a more experienced, intelligent, aggressive, skilful bunch of players that can help in this process, whilst still enjoying playing rugby and having a beer with their mates. (I was going to add fast and nimble but I think that should be left to the youngsters.)

The 3rd’s have been going from strength to strength and even though we will be playing down a league this year, we will still need those outstanding performances to bring the club yet another league title, which has been, and still is, an expectation of this team every season that they play.
