4th XV Season 2013/14
Some words from our new leader
Here we go, the 2013–14 season! What a year this could be! Building on the infrastructure laid out last year, and with additional players and members of the coaching team, there really is no better time to be a part of Maidstone RFC.
On a personal level, as the new captain of the 4th Team, I extend a welcome hand to all players I will have the pleasure of training and playing with this year. Last season, under the illustrious Capt Ewence, the 4ths saw a very respectable fifth place in the league, despite having to forfeit a game or two. My aim for this year? Well I'm not going to lie, I really don’t like losing! I'd like to see the 4ths pushing for a top three place come 12th April. But one step at a time… no matter what level you're at, get down to training and take full advantage of the experience and enthusiasm available there. Come join me – let's hammer the pre-season training, and smash the opposition come August, and I look forward to seeing what we can do with this exciting year at MFC
